Anime Synopsis:

Eijun Sawamura loses his final middle school baseball game due to an errant fastball that absolutely misses the batter. Eijun and his colleagues are depressed by their failure and pledge to compete in the national championship once they reach high school. Everything changes, though, when a scout unexpectedly invites him to Tokyo's famous Seidou High School after noticing his unique pitching style's potential. Eijun accepts the offer, encouraged by his teammates, and is eager to enhance his skills and play baseball at a much higher level of competition.

Eijun, though, is struggling to find his position on the club given that he is surrounded by so many talented players. He declares that he will one day become the team's ace, but only if fellow first-year Satoru Furuya, who has earned a coveted berth on the starting roster thanks to his blazing fastballs, doesn't capture the title first. The Seidou baseball club hopes to become the greatest in Japan with the addition of these excellent new players to an already strong lineup, while facing a lot of dangerous opponents.
